MinistriesFine Arts Ministry Our Fine Arts Ministry is open to every member of the Crossroads family. We are united in our faith and glorify God through our artistic gifts, talents and abilities. The Fine Arts Ministry sponsors several events through out the year to showcase the wonderful talents of all of our members. We provide artistic support to the church through a vast variety of dance, drama and mime. We also provide the seasonal decorations for the church. Register from one of our upcoming events and come on and join in on the fun! Greeters Ministry Welcome is what we are all about! We guarantee that every person that enters our church doors will be met with a warm smile and a cheerful heart. The Greeter Ministry has the awesome privilege of setting the mood for the entire worship experience! If you are energetic, friendly and have a real love for people than you belong with us! Call the church to get an appointment with our ministry leader! Usher Ministry The ushers or PMTs (professional ministry technicians) as we call them, are the back bone for every service. Providing guidance, structure and order to the worship experience. Our ushers are a wonderfully friendly and dedicated group of individuals who see the service that they provide as real ministry. If you have a warm smile and enjoy working with others please give us a call. Audio/Video Ministry This is currently on of the fastest growing ministry of the church. From sound board operations, floor technicians, duplicating machine operators to marketing and sales, there is a wide variety of ways you can work in this ministry. No prior experience is necessary. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry please give us a call at the church. Health Services Our ministry embraces one of our church's visionary pillars that promises to "promote healthy lifestyles." Providing information on a variety of health and wellness topics, our primary focus is on health education. This ministry sponsors various seminars on health related topics as well as maintaining informational bulletin boards and tables through out the church. Our staff provides on going training for our health service attendants, so you don't need to have any formal medical training to work with this ministry. If you enjoy working with people and learning new things then give us a try. Miracle In Motion Capital Campaign We are blessed to work in one of the most exciting ministry of the church! The Miracle In Motion's primary responsibility is to strive to engage and encourage every member to be actively involve in helping the ministry to meet it's expansion goals. We utilize newsletters, public forums, brochures, personal contacts, fundraisers, and much more to keep the membership informed and excited about growing! We are currently working on a three year program to raise funds for phases I - II of our building program. (See Miracle in Motion web page). If you enjoy working with others and are innovative, imaginative, have a knack for raising money and motivating then you are just the person we're looking for! Don't wait! Schedule a meeting with the ministry leader right away! Music Ministry Having several recording artist on staff, we are blessed with the best! Our music ministry is second to none! No matter what type of gospel music you enjoy from the old time sound to the urban gospel rap we offer something for everyone. Music is truly a universal language transcending culture, economics and language barriers. Here, at Crossroads, it's all about ministry! Our mission is to glorify God while encouraging and inspiring our brothers and sisters.
If you are a quick learner and enjoy challenging rehearsals you may also want to consider becoming a part of one of our praise teams. This ministry is fast moving and exciting and is blessed with the opportunity of leading the congregation into praise and worship. Whatever your particular taste in gospel music, we got you covered! Office Administration This ministry is connected to every ministry and person in the church providing the organizational and communication structure necessary for our productive operation. Our department is responsible for the daily office operations, all printing, copying, web site maintenance, bulletins, brochures, forms, record keeping, informational displays and much more. We are always looking for friendly, talented and dedicated people who enjoy using their talents in the service of God and his people. If you have office experience or would simply like to help out on special projects please give us a call or email us. You will be glad that you did. Public Relations and Marketing We work closely with the Senior Pastor and the Office Administration ministry in the design and publication of all ministry related materials. If you have experience in computer aided design of flyers, bulletins and power point presentations, web site maintenance or if you have a talent for photography, writing articles and newsletters then this ministry is for you! We are also interested in working with people who have public relations experience with contacts with various media outlets. YOUTH FOR CHRIST (YFC) Children and Youth Ministry Our youth department is a diverse assortment of dynamic youth ministries that together compile a comprehensive program design to lead every child to become a fully devoted disciple of Jesus Christ! WOMEN'S MINISTRY Meeting every 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. this ministry offers every woman a wonderful opportunity to grow and develop their god-given potential through prayer, fellowship and fun-filled outings, biblically based instruction and mentoring. Every woman is welcomed to attend! SCHOOL OF THE KINGS
There is nothing quite like the School of the Kings! It is, by design, a comprehensive men's ministry created to call the "king" in every man to the forefront. It provides men with a variety of educational, emotional and spiritual growth programs all bundled together in a strong, loving and encouraging ministry environment. Every man owes it to himself to experience a gathering of the "Kings". Read More... CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Our Christian Education department touches a variety of ministry through out the church. Its primary responsibility is to provide on going training to all of or teachers and group facilitators as well as to provide leadership to our Sunday School and Youth Council components of ministry. Senior's Ministry This ministry celebrates the value of are senior members. From special outings, luncheons and educational programs, to working with our youth and younger members of the congregation, this ministry is always busy doing great things. Be sure to check the calendar of events each month and plan on being an active part of this wonderful fellowship. M.A.N.N.A. (Metro Area Necessary Nutritional Assistance) Operating one of the areas only mobile food pantry, Crossroads serves over two hundred families each month. For the year 2007 we served over 17,849 individuals and 8,374 families. If you would like to volunteer filling boxes, waiting on recipients or working in some capacity with our missionaries and deacons in this ministry please give us a call at (618) 394-8901.
